Splashing through an awesome day.

Today was a fabulously beautiful day here in Colorado. It was warm, sunny and filled with lots of splashing in the neighborhood pool. Today was Weatherstone's annual pool opening party. Since I am a block captain I helped organize this little gathering. We had hundreds of hot dogs and hamburgers to grill and polished off nearly every one of them. The pool was packed with little bodies having the time of their lives.

Todd flipped burgers on the massive grill for about an hour with our next door neighbor while my parents chased the children around. Elias is just about more than anyone can handle as he gave several mamas mini heart attacks time after time because he kept trying to sit down or crawl along the bottom of the pool. This was impossible since the water was over his head in both instances. He never really figured that out though. Since exiting the pool he has over filled every diaper till it soaks his clothes. Who knows how much water he ingested!

We all managed to get a little bit of a sunburn here or there. Trae's face is quite red as are the back of my legs. It was a beautiful day.

Also, we are re-decorating our master bedroom and today our dear Sandi finished painting. This was quite the task since she had to apply four different colors throughout the room and bathroom. We are really supporting our CU Buffs now as our walls are black and gold!! Black on the bottom and magical gold stripes on the top. It all turned out very cool. To get the full effect you'll have to come walk our room.
